Film Contest Winner Announcement

The top 10 finalists were selected by a panel of industry judges that included: multi-talented director, writer, producer and actor, Eli Roth, Marc Graser (Senior Writer, Variety) and John Murdy (Creative Director, Universal Studios Hollywood). Fans were then able to vote for their favorite scary short movie.

The fans have spoken and the winner of the 2011 Halloween Horror Nights Short Film Competition is Brent Bokovoy from El Cajon, California. His winning short film "Monster in my Swimming Pool" will be honored during the Eyegore Awards ceremony and will premiere at the event, receive national broadcast exposure on Chiller and syfy.com and be awarded a $1,000 cash prize.
